Which Internet marketing works best?
Ok so the big question most London based marketing directors want to know when you’re sat in a board meeting is “which internet marketing methods are best to integrate into our marketing mix or the 4 c’s?” and “How do we measure return on investment?”
The simple answer is how long is a piece of string?
Why? Because some marketing methods may work for one company but are completely inappropriate for another.
If the company has a website administrator in-house that is able to produce regular site news about the companies industry, then I would see an immediate advantage of using SEO or search engine optimisation because I find that most of the hard work is out of the way. I would give some basic instructions as to how long the news article should be along with the correct implementation of H1’s, H2’s and keywords.
Then, it would be a case of optimising the page titles and implementing some name anchors for the keywords in order to link to from the home page using exact match keywords.
If the company has no means of doing this and they don’t want to spend a lot of money or have the website changes in any way, then I would maybe suggest a PPC campaign. A good way to show the marketing director that you know their business is to have researched their primary competitors PPC ads. Take some stats on how what ads are running along with bid amount and a monthly-proposed budget to get the ball rolling.
Like I said, it all depends on the kind of Internet marketing London Company.
